We have a plan — everyone has a plan, right?? Our plan is to take the Casita out camping at least once a month.
For November’s trip, we went to South Shores on Lake Bastrop.
For December, we plan to go to McKinney Falls State Park.
And to close the year out - we plan to go to Pedernales Falls State Park.

it was in the upper 30’s, lower 40’s when we got up on Sunday morning … the birds in the pics are Coots.
The park is run by the Lower Colorado River Authority and is smaller than most state or national parks — it had 60 slots for camping… it was not full when we got there early Saturday morning but was full by the afternoon. We really liked all the trees and brush between each of the campsites. It gave each of the campsites a feeling of privacy.
The cat was comfortable and did not complain and the dog, Maxi was in seventh heaven! She really had a great time. Plenty of hikes, people and wildlife — what could be better??

Okay — I knew that sorting, editing and picking my Ren Fair pics from Opening weekend was going to be hard …that is why I kept putting it OFF! But I have finally done it — I decided to be VERY lazy!!

First thing this morning, I get a phone call from my sis and her 2 little ones to serenade me with the Happy Birthday song. Then I got this wonderful card in my email! Birthdays are full of surprises … The rest of my family came up last Saturday to have lunch with me at Threadgills. They were as always — super nice!

Hi you guys -
I am having fun on my vacation to the Beautiful North country! Their flowers up here are beautiful! The Day Lillies are especially wonderful …Picture #2 is a Passion Flower. The #3 picture is an object test shot. It was just sitting on the kitchen table when I pulled my camera out. Thought it turned out Interesting! #4 is of Boston Harbor and although it is overexposed loved how this made the chain and posts stand out. #5 is a bridge in Boston Harbor … just thought it was cool!

So I have been taking a lot of time and focus to help me learn Photoshop. This project is the result of many days work. I took over 50 shots to get the ones I needed and then came the hard part - taking what I had learned about Photoshop and applying that.
